<div><div class="description"><div><div class="description"><div><div class="description"><div><div class="description"><p><a href="https://www.chevening.org/scholarships/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Chevening program</a> invites ambitious Arab students wishing to complete their graduate studies and obtain a <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Master&#39;s degree</a> to apply for a Chevening scholarship. The <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/United-Kingdom" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">UK</a> Government Chevening Program, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and its partner organizations. These <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">scholarships</a> are awarded to distinguished professionals with a strong academic background, wishing to obtain a one-year master&#39;s degree in any subject and at any university in the UK.</p><h3>Funding:</h3><p><strong>Chevening Scholarships are fully-funded, cover the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Payment of tuition fees.</li><li>A monthly personal living allowance (stipend) to cover accommodation and living expenses. The monthly stipend will depend on whether you are studying inside or outside London. These rates are subject to annual review.</li><li>Economy travel to and from your country of residence by an approved route for you only.</li><li>An arrival allowance.</li><li>The cost of an entry clearance (visa) application for you only.</li><li>A departure allowance.</li><li>A contribution of up to &pound;75 for TB testing, where this is required.</li><li>A travel top up allowance.</li></ul><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><p><strong>For Students</strong></p><ul><li>To be a Arab citizen</li><li>To return home for at least two years after the award has ended.</li><li>Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit your application. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK but may be different depending on your course and university choice.</li><li>At least two years of work experience equivalent to 2800 hours of work provided that it is after completion of university study and not required to be from one job.<strong>&nbsp;The types of work experience that are eligible for Chevening can include:</strong></li></ul><ol><li>Full-time employment.</li><li>Part-time employment.</li><li><a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Volunteer-Work" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Voluntary work</a>.</li><li>Paid or unpaid</li><li><a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Internships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">internships</a>.</li></ol><ul><li>Apply to three different eligible <a href="https://www.chevening.org/scholarships/guidance/courses/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">UK university courses</a> and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by <strong>13 July 2023</strong>.</li><li>Does not hold British citizenship or dual British citizenship.</li><li>Applicants who hold refugee status in a Chevening-eligible country are eligible for an award.</li><li>The applicant has not previously studied in the UK with funding from a UK Government-funded scholarship.</li></ul><p><strong>Important Note:&nbsp;</strong>Chevening does not have an English language requirement. However, you are still required to meet all requirements from your chosen university.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>For Chosen Courses:</strong></p><ul><li>It should be full-time since the grant does not include part-time programs and Distance learning.</li><li>The duration of the program should not be less than nine months or more than 12 months.</li><li>Based in the UK and does not require study outside of the UK for more than a month.</li><li>Start in the autumn term (usually September/October).</li><li>Taught master&rsquo;s (i.e. not research-focused MRes programs).</li><li>Lead to a master&rsquo;s degree qualification as the scholarship does not include a <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Ph.D.</a> or its equivalent.</li></ul><h3>Required Documents:</h3><ul><li>Valid passport or national ID.</li><li>Work Experience Certificate.</li><li>English Language certificate.&nbsp;</li><li>A short biography.</li><li>Education documents (copies of&nbsp;certificates and/or transcripts).</li><li>The registration form is required names, phone number, and e-mail of two referees who know you academically or at work. If the candidate is selected, he/she must attach two Reference Letters by 22 February 2023.</li></ul><p><strong>Note: References must be written in English.</strong></p><h3>Chevening Scholarship:</h3><p>Chevening is the UK government&rsquo;s international awards programme aimed at developing global leaders. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers two types of award &ndash; Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships &ndash; the recipients of which are personally selected by British embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.
