AIESEC offers an internship to teach languages in Algeria. The exchange participant will be in charge of teaching a language to adults in a school for 35 hours per week. The exchange participant will have two days off during the week. The time schedule of the lessons will be set by the school. The exchange participant must teach his native language or his second language.

Responsibilities:

  • Test the level of students concerning the taught language.
  • Engage students in writing, speaking and listening activities.
  • Make workshops to stimulate students to interact with each other and with the exchange participant.
  • Participating in AIESEC events and presenting your culture while learning about the Algerian one.
  • Explore each student's weaknesses to better improve his/her learning.

Requirements:

  1. Having a background in Languages or Education is an asset, applicants also should have the following skills (preferred but not required):

Benefits

  • Stipend of 300 EUR per month

Note: There are trainee nominee fees of 50 euros and the intern must have a valid health insurance for his entire stay in Algeria.
