The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is offering postdoctoral young researchers, who are from developing countries and wish to pursue advanced research in biotechnology at the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC) in Thailand, the chance to attend a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Fellowships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">fellowship</a>&nbsp;to develop their research in a professional environment. The duration of the fellowship will be from 12 to 24 months. The applicants must apply for the fellowship within three years of having obtained a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PhD</a>&nbsp;degree in a field of the natural sciences and must not be more than 40 years old.<h3>Research Areas:</h3>BIOTEC is seeking 2 positions for postdoctoral researchers in the areas of molecular biology, molecular genetics, biotechnology, proteomics, metabolomics, molecular Immunology, biochemistry, medical technology, cell culture technology, and bioprocess technology.

The applicant will receive a monthly allowance to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food.

&nbsp;Applicants for these fellowships must meet the following criteria:<ul><li>be nationals of a developing country (other than Thailand).</li><li>must not hold any visa for temporary or permanent residency in Thailand or any developed country.</li><li>hold a PhD degree in any of the following fields: molecular biology, molecular genetics, biotechnology, proteomics, metabolomics, molecular Immunology, biochemistry, medical technology, cell culture technology, and bioprocess technology or related disciplines;</li><li>meet the requirements of the 2 postdoctoral postions available at BIOTEC and its research units.
