About the organization
The Lundbeck Foundation was established in 1954 by the Danish businesswoman Grete Lundbeck. Every year, the Lundbeck Foundation awards a number of scholarships to particularly promising young scientists who are qualified to establish or develop a research team. These scholarships are awarded under Lundbeck Foundation Fellowships. The Foundation wishes to attract both Danish and foreign researchers who are residents abroad and wish to continue their research in Denmark. The Lundbeck Foundation’s vision is to create better lives through new knowledge. The Foundation hopes that their grants make a significant contribution to increasing research-based knowledge and experience in the field of biomedical and health sciences in Denmark.
