About the organization
Illustraciencia disseminates and celebrates the scientific and natural illustration since 2009. It organizes an international award and, of all the works presented, the professional jury selects the 40 finalists that form the traveling exhibition. From the finalists, and according to the aim of Illustraciencia, the authors of the two winning works are economically rewarded. It offers courses of scientific illustration in which the assistants learn to use different techniques of illustration.
