About the organization
China Residencies is a non-for-profit organization works on searching for new opportunities in China and Hong Kong, then create a free online directory of these opportunities for creative people from all over the world. It funds excellent creative people and projects through residencies and nurtures. It also supports and advises existing and envisioned residency programs across the region to foster sustainable creative exchange. China Residency believes that diplomacy shouldn’t just be left up to politicians. Artists are cultural and social change makers, and, in a world where people sometimes forget to listen to and learn from one another, It seeks to create opportunities for artists to bring a broader cultural understanding into their work and communities.
