Free Online Course from edx: Build your Very Frst iOS App

edXoffers a free online course on building an iOS app. In this course you will learn the tools, techniques and concepts needed to build a basic iOS app, from scratch. You will be introduced to the Swift programming language and learn how to utilise the Apple developer tools to build an app. 

Requirements 

To successfully complete this course you will need access to an Apple Mac computer or laptop capable of running:

• macOS10.14
• Xcode 10.

What will you learn

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

1. Understand and use the Swift programming language.
2. Use and explain the Apple developer tools: including Xcode, Interface Builder, Documentation Browser;
3. Confidently converse with iOS developers, understanding the basics of coding and App development;
4. Design, develop and build their own simple iOS Apps.
