DEWA has a comprehensive strategy to promote Emiratisation. DEWA&rsquo;s Emiratisation plan includes providing <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">scholarships</a> for Emirati students in some of the leading educational organizations in the UAE and abroad. The Scholarship Programme includes:<ul><li>Intilaq Programme for a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree</a>&nbsp;in electrical engineering in different government and private universities and colleges:&nbsp;DEWA has introduced this program to be implemented in collaboration with several private and government universities and colleges targeting the following categories of candidates.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in electrical engineering in the United Arab Emirates University:&nbsp;Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, in collaboration with <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/United-Arab-Emirates-UAE" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">UAE</a> University, has driven all its efforts to nationalize engineering positions by providing students with the opportunity of enrolling in Bachelor&rsquo;s degree program (Electrical Engineering) to prepare and develop UAE national high school science graduates to be recruited for suitable engineering positions at DEWA.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in electrical engineering in Higher Colleges of Technology (Dubai Men&rsquo;s College):&nbsp;DEWA introduced this program, which is implemented in cooperation with the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, to prepare Emirati High School graduates for engineering positions at DEWA, after getting a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering.</li></ul><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><ul><li>Applicant should be a UAE citizen.</li><li>Achieving at least 80% in the high-school certificate.</li><li>Passing the written tests and interview.</li><li>Undertaking to work for DEWA after getting the bachelor&rsquo;s degree as per the agreed period.</li><li>To be medically fit.</li><li>To have a certificate of good conduct.</li></ul><h3>Funding:</h3>Students enrolled in this program are entitled to the following benefits:<ul><li>Monthly allowance of AED 6,500 for the duration of the study.</li><li>Medical insurance for the duration of the study.</li><li>An additional reward of AED 1,500 during summer training for 6 weeks each year.</li></ul>Salary and benefits after receiving the bachelor&rsquo;s degree:&nbsp;After completing the program and receiving the bachelor&rsquo;s degree, the graduate is appointed in an engineering position at DEWA and receives an attractive salary and additional benefits.Other benefits:<ul><li>Increment based on an annual appraisal.</li><li>Annual leave for 22 working days.</li><li>Enrollment in the retirement and pension scheme.</li><li>Opportunities for promotion and training in the UAE and abroad.</li><li>Shift allowances.</li><li>Medical insurance.</li><li>Annual leave tickets.</li><li>Education allowance for children.</li></ul><h3>Required Documents:</h3><ul><li>Passport copy.</li><li>Family Book copy.</li><li>Emirates ID copy.</li><li>Certificate of Good Conduct.</li><li>Attested copy of the high-school certificates for grades 10, 11, and 12, showing the percentages if the applicant is a high school graduate.</li><li>Copy of GPA if the applicant is a university student in the final or before-final year.</li><li>Two passport-size photos.</li></ul>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master">Master&rsquo;s scholarships</a> on For9aSee more available&nbsp;<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Jobs">jobs</a> on For9a
