About the organization
IICExchange was founded in 2004 to assist international organisations in reaching Arab youth. We work in cooperation with universities and organisations to choose appropriate candidates for participating in Cultural Exchange/Training programs. Our goal is to make this opportunity available to our all youth and we are committed to keep opening more doors to them. Our partners are : AIFS , Geovisions , Colombia University (NY), CETUSA ,Spirit Cultural Exchange , UREKA and FLS organizations. We have been operating most of these programs since 2004 incorporation with all the universities in Jordan, INJAZ organization and ALSABELA (Prince Hassan Award ) and the US embassy. We run several cultural exchange programs that include Work and Travel USA, Camp America, Internship/Trainee, Volunteer abroad, Home stay-Jordan, FLS Language and Study in USA programs. The Institute of International Cultural Exchange is also responsible for promoting the programs in Jordan and the Middle East. We make a preliminary selection of applicants, arrange for their interviews, and provide support and orientation throughout the enrolment and pre-departure phases of the program. Later then we provide post-program synthesis and evaluation when applicants return. Some universities, schools & organisations get involved in the selection of students/applicants, often by associating the program with a particular department or faculty. We work with partners who do all the above, and they might provide academic credit for experiential learning. Some partners provide financial assistance from a central fund to help students/applicants cover program fees or transportation costs.
