<p>Fundaci&oacute;n ASISA announces its XI International Photography <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Competitions-and-Awards"><strong>Contest</strong></a> ASISAFoto. In its quest for support for culture and diversity, the Foundation calls on participants from around the world to share their work and their art, this year also premiering a new category. Participants&rsquo; number in ASISAFoto previous editions are as many as more than 10.000 photographers.</p><h3>Eligibility:</h3><ul><li>Participation in this competition is international and open to any amateur or professional photographers from anywhere in the world.</li><li>Each artist can participate in one or more categories, submitting a collection or series of 5 to 7 photos.</li></ul><h3>Categories:</h3><p>There are five categories or themes in which artists can participate:</p><ol><li>Free Choice.</li><li>Infancy and/or Maternity.</li><li>Nature.</li><li>Smiles-The Asisa Dental Prize: In this category, the photos must be themed around the capturing of moments which show a spontaneous smile as a sign of happiness or situations which cause smiles.</li><li>Pets: the admissible pet photos must be exclusively dogs or cats. Excluded from this category are photos of animals in captivity, farm animals, family pets, cultivated plants and still life photos.</li><li>Travelers: In this section, the photographs should be oriented to those situations that show scenes of travel.</li></ol><p>Artists are free to use any photographic technique in their presented works, with the exception of Nature, Smiles, and Pets photos, which must be in color.</p><h3>Photo Specifications:</h3><p>Only digital photos are admitted in the contest. Therefore, the submitted photos that are uploaded to the competition platform must fulfill the following conditions:</p><ol><li>JPEG digital format files.</li><li>Maximum compression quality (12).</li><li>30 centimeters for the length of the longest side.</li><li>100 dpi resolution and Adobe RGB color space.</li></ol><h3>Prizes:</h3><p><strong>Prizes of honor:</strong></p><ol><li>As for Free choice, Infancy and/or Maternity, and Nature categories, the winner will get 6.000 euros and a gold medal from the Spanish Confederation of Photography (CEF) for the best work presented in this category. From among the remaining photos presented in this category, the committee will also award 6 prizes of 500 euros each, as recompense for the acquisition of the works.</li><li>And as for Smiles-The ASISA Dental Prize, the winner will get 6.000 euros and a gold medal from the Andalusian Federation of Photography (FAF) for the best work presented in this category. From among the remaining photos presented in this category, the committee will also award 6 prizes of 500 euros each, as recompense for the acquisition of the works.</li><li>And as for Pets, and Travellers the winner will get 1.000 euros and a gold medal from the Andalusian Federation of Photography (FAF) for the best work presented in this category.</li></ol><p><strong>The ASISAFOTO Special Prize for the Best Artist:</strong></p><p>The committee will select the artist they consider to be the best in the competition from among the winners of the prizes of honor and said a person will be awarded the special prize of the 11th International ASISAFOTO Photography Competition 2019. This special prize shall consist of the production and organization, by the ASISA Foundation, of an exhibition of 30 photos that will be freely selected by the artist. Said exhibition shall travel for one year between the various centers related to the ASISA Group in Spain.
