Opportunity description
NAVS organization, in celebration of its 90th anniversary, invites artists of all ages and skill levels to get creative and participate in the “Art for Animals 2019” competition. The competition enables the participants to show what compassion for animals means to them and give them the opportunity to picture compassion for animals and What the compassion for animals will look like in the next 90 years?
Guidelines:
- Submissions must be original work.
- Participants should save their submissions using the following format:
file_type [Example: Animals in Winter_John_Doe.jpg] - Participants should refrain from using religious symbols or portraying animals in clothing.
- Submitting artwork for consideration grants NAVS permission to feature the artwork online and/or in print publications in perpetuity. The artist will always be given full credit.
- No more than three works of art per person should be submitted.
- NAVS reserves the right to not award all prizes if contest submissions are not suitable.
- Submissions may be digitally-created artwork, as well as digital images of original paintings, illustrations or photographs.

Prizes and Benefits:
Cash prizes will be given to First, Second and Third Place winners, one Youth (age 12 and under) winner, and one Best in Show winner. The artwork could appear in print and online messages from NAVS, and on greeting cards and on social media throughout the year.
About NAVS:
It’s a British non-profit organization whose headquarter is in London. It was established in 1929 and has a proud history of animal advocacy aimed at ending the cruel and outdated practice of animal experimentation. In addition, NAVS has Sanctuary Fund that advances greater compassion for animals by providing emergency financial assistance to support animals retired from laboratories and those threatened by natural and man-made disasters.
