Scholarship Amount
Students starting an online MBA with University of Essex in the 2018-2019 academic year may be eligible for an Executive Scholarship of up to £6,000 towards the tuition fees, reducing the full course fee to £13,008.

Entry requirements
To apply for this scholarship you can apply for one of the following routs:
- Academic Entry Route: In order to satisfy the Academic Entry Route requirements for this MBA program applicants must have the following qualifications as a minimum:
- A 1st, 2:1 or 2:2 undergraduate degree from an approved institution equivalent to a UK Honors degree.
- At least three years’ relevant, professional work experience, post-graduation.
- If English is not the applicant'sr first language, IELTS (Academic) 6.5 or equivalent. If applicants do not hold an IELTS or equivalent qualification, they will be required to pass a free online English test.
- Work Experience Entry Route: If applicants do not meet the minimum academic standards above, they may still be eligible to enrol via the Work Experience Entry Route. Applicants will be required to have at least five years of relevant managerial experience. They will also be required to write an essay (2000 words) outlining a range of business situations which they have experienced and identifying what they have learnt from them.
Applications will be considered on an individual basis taking into account applicant's motivation for doing the course, prior work experience and other relevant qualifications that demonstrate applicant's ability to successfully complete the program.

Evaluation Criteria
- Executive Scholarship applications are assessed on a merit basis.
- Applicants will be asked to write a statement of in support of their scholarship application, these topics should be included:
- Academic ability.
- Professional experience and career progression.
- Ideas on sustainable and entrepreneurial business.
- Your ability to communicate experience and ideas.
- Your plan to utilize the University of Essex MBA experience after the course.
