Browse related opportunitiesThe University of Warwick in the UK invites international PhD students to apply for three highly competitive scholarships in the field of Artificial Intelligence in October 2019, which was established to create a group of extremely talented, academically brilliant, world-leading young researchers.
[1] Outstanding PhD applicants from the UK, EU or international
[2] Students with aspiration as well as intellectual aptitude. You should possess an innovative approach to problem solving, well developed technical skills, a willingness to work in a cross-disciplinary training and research setting
[3] Students that are open to learning new skills, which might be outside the field of your undergraduate and/or master’s degree. You should have, or be about to graduate with a first class Bachelor of Science Honors degree or international equivalent. Ideally, you will also possess, or be about to be awarded a Master’s level degree
[1] After submitting a part of your online application form with all the required documents, you may be invited to submit a full PhD application form
[2] If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to a scholarship interview with the department and the donor, Jonathan Feuer. The interview may be over video if you are based overseas
[3] If you are offered the scholarship, you will need to accept it at the university and to successfully complete the enrolment process
[4] In October 2019, up to 3 successful applicants will enroll and start their scholarship
[1] Full tuition fees for 3 years (home/EU or overseas)
[2] Stipend at RCUK rate plus a top up of £2,000 per annum (£14,777 + £2,000 in 2018/19)
[3] Support for travel, equipment and research
[4] The chance to work alongside Warwick’s fellows and with world-leading academics and experts at the Alan Turing Institute in London
