The International Water Centre offers a range of scholarships are awarded annually to high-calibre candidates who clearly demonstrate potential as future water leaders.
Available scholarships:
- Partial-tuition scholarships: an IWC Master’s Scholarship (partial tuition scholarship) to all international applicants who apply, are accepted into, and enroll in the Master of Integrated Water Management program as self-funded, full-time students. The total value for this scholarship is A$9,500, which covers:
- A$7000 towards the cost of tuition for the Master of Integrated Water Management program.
- Return air travel up to the value of A$2500 to Australia for all full-time Master program applicants.
- Australia Awards Scholarship (available to Palestinian Territories for Master’s level studies): the Australia Awards Scholarship offers the next generation of global leaders an opportunity to study, research and develop professionally at Australian Universities. In return, Australia Awards scholars are expected to return to their home country and contribute to their regions development (Deadline: 30 April 2019). Value of this scholarship includes:
- Full tuition fees
- Return flights
- Establishment allowance
- Contribution to Living Expenses
- Introductory Academic Program (IAP)
- Student Health Cover (OSHC)
- Visa expenses
- Pre-course English (PCE) fees and Supplementary Academic Support (Tutorial Assistance), if needed
- Full-tuition and full-living costs scholarships (opens on May 1st, 2019): there are up to two full tuition and full living costs scholarships available annually, targeted at international candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements to pursue a master degree, hold citizenship and currently live in one of the priority countries. These countries include the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. One of these scholarships will be reserved and awarded to a female candidate (Deadline: 1 August 2019). Value for this scholarship is AU$92,645, which covers:
- Full tuition fees for full-time study of Master of Integrated Water Management
- Living expenses remuneration
- Return air travel to Australia
- University student amenities fee
- Cost of Student Visa for a single student
- Cost of Overseas Student Health Cover for a single student
