Opportunity description
The University of Manchester in the UK is offering a maximum of 5 scholarships for students seeking to enroll in the Master of Philosophy program in the School of Social Sciences for the academic year 2019-2020. The scholarship is for one year full-time or two years part-time, and continuation of the award is subject to satisfactory progress.

Eligibility criteria:
- Students have to have an undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above (or overseas equivalent) in Philosophy or related subject
- There are no nationality restrictions
- Scholarships can’t be awarded as a one-off payment or maintenance stipend, but can only be used as a fee discount
- All applications will be considered by the Philosophy Department and short-listed candidates will be interviewed, either in person or via Skype
- All offer holders for the MA will automatically be considered
