The scholarship is for one year full-time or two years part-time, and continuation of the award is subject to satisfactory progress.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Students have to have an undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above (or overseas equivalent) in Philosophy or related subject
2. There are no nationality restrictions
3. Scholarships can’t be awarded as a one-off payment or maintenance stipend, but can only be used as a fee discount
4. All applications will be considered by the Philosophy Department and short-listed candidates will be interviewed, either in person or via Skype
5. All offer holders for the MA will automatically be considered
