Vanderbilt University in the United States has opened applications for the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship 2027, a competitive merit-based scholarship designed for outstanding students seeking to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at the university.
The scholarship targets students who demonstrate a combination of academic excellence, strong intellectual potential, leadership, and active involvement in extracurricular and community activities.
Scholarship recipients receive full tuition coverage throughout their undergraduate studies, in addition to a one-time summer stipend that may be used to participate in an educational or research experience or a distinctive project after the second or third year of study.

- Upload the required responses and documents in PDF or Word format.
- Submit the scholarship application online.
- Make sure a confirmation appears in MyAppVU after submission.
- Submit the application before December 1, 2026.
Eligibility criteria
Students may apply for the scholarship if they:
- Are applying for admission to Vanderbilt University as First-Year Applicants.
- Have an outstanding academic record.
- Demonstrate strong intellectual and academic abilities.

- May be international students; Vanderbilt confirms that international first-year applicants are eligible to apply for all merit scholarships offered by the university.
