The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) offers a limited number of Tuition Fee Waivers for academically outstanding international students from outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue an MSc degree at the university.
The scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver for two years, which corresponds to the standard duration of a master’s degree at DTU. Recipients are selected based on academic excellence, including bachelor’s degree results, research and professional experience, scientific publications, and other academic achievements.

Eligibility criteria
To be considered for the DTU Tuition Fee Waiver, applicants must:
- Be a new international student at DTU.
- Be from outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA).
- Be required to pay international tuition fees.
- Apply to an eligible MSc program at DTU.
- Begin their studies in the Autumn Intake.
- Meet all academic admission requirements for the selected program.
- Have an outstanding academic record from their bachelor’s degree.
- Meet the required English language proficiency requirements.
- Submit the admission application before the deadline.
- Attach a separate Personal Statement clearly stating that they are applying for the Tuition Fee Waiver.
