Dragon Legion e.V. is a non-profit youth organization based in Cologne, Germany. It focuses on developing young people's skills through the use of Role-Playing Games (RPGs) as educational and developmental tools. The organization’s activities are centered on building international youth communities, encouraging creativity, and promoting interactive learning within a diverse European environment.

This project aims to expand Dragon Legion’s youth network by using RPGs to build an international youth community, while supporting volunteers in developing their project management skills, teamwork, and self-directed goal setting. Volunteers work in an international environment and contribute to innovative ideas that impact youth both locally and across Europe.

  • Duration: 12 months (52 weeks)

  • Period: From 1 June 2025 to 31 August 2026

  • Location: Friedrich-Karl-Str. 200, Cologne, Germany

  • Type of volunteering: Individual volunteering under the European Solidarity Corps

  • No deadline for applications

Duties & responsibilities

  • Organize youth activities using RPGs

  • Collaborate with schools in areas like language learning and social skill development

  • Develop new concepts for educational RPGs

  • Create interactive content such as magazines, videos, or media campaigns

  • Work as part of an international team with creativity and initiative

Eligibility criteria

  • Must be from one of the countries participating in the European Solidarity Corps (including Arab countries like Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon…)

  • Fluent in English (the main office language); basic German is a plus

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Motivation to propose ideas and work independently

  • No prior experience required, but interest in games, education, or media is preferred
