BBA Prizes / BBA Gallery in Berlin has opened applications for the BBA Artist Prize 2027, one of the international art awards and competitions aimed at artists from around the world. The prize gives artists the opportunity to present their work to a specialized jury and gain exposure to an international audience interested in contemporary art.
The competition is open to artists of all nationalities aged 18 and above. No academic degree or specific level of artistic experience is required. There is also no fixed theme, and applicants may submit work in a wide variety of artistic media, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, video art, performance art, and more. Each applicant may submit up to 5 artworks.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants may apply if they:
- Are 18 years old or older.
- Are a living artist.
- Are of any nationality.
- Are the original creator and owner of the submitted artwork.
- Hold the intellectual property rights related to the submitted works.
- Are not under exclusive representation by another art gallery.
- Are able to make the artwork available for exhibition if selected.
Required Documents and Information
After registering and paying the entry fee, applicants will be required to provide:
- Name, contact information, and address.
- Website, if available.
- An Artist Statement of no more than 300 words.
- A CV.
- A list of previous exhibitions, if applicable.
- Detailed information about the submitted artworks.
- Up to 5 images of the artworks.
- Each image must not exceed 3 MB.
