Eligibility criteria
Applicants are eligible to participate if they:
- Are from any country or nationality worldwide.
- Are of any age, as there is no age limit.
- Submit an original travel article written by themselves.
- Submit a non-fiction work.
- Submit a piece that has not been previously published.
- Write the article in English.
- Ensure that the article does not exceed 1,000 words.
- Do not use Generative AI to create the submitted work.
Entry Conditions
- The submission must be a Travel Writing piece.
- It must be based on a real, non-fiction experience.
- The article must not exceed 1,000 words.
- The work must be written in English.
- It must be original and previously unpublished.
- The article should convey a strong sense of place and local culture.
- Applicants may submit an unlimited number of entries.
- Each article must be submitted through a separate form and requires a separate entry fee.
- The use of generative AI to write the submission is not permitted.
- The writer retains the rights to the work in accordance with the competition rules.
