Opportunity description
The Max Planck Institutes for Computer Science—including the Institute for Informatics, the Institute for Software Systems, and the Institute for Security and Privacy in Germany—are among the world’s leading centers for scientific research in computer science. They attract students and researchers from across the globe to conduct advanced studies in high-quality academic and research environments.
These research internships provide a unique opportunity to conduct computer science research under the guidance of academic mentors within world-class research teams. The internships usually last 12 to 14 weeks, offering participants financial support, housing, and travel coverage. They serve as an excellent entry point into international research and can help build a strong academic and professional pathway.
Application Deadline
For summer internships (May–August): Applications usually close on November 1 of the previous year.
For non-summer internships: Applications must be submitted at least five months before the intended start date

Eligibility criteria
