Online Yale Competition for Playwriting with the Opportunity to Win $10,000

• There is no fee to participate in this competition.
• This competition is limited to plays written in English.
• Applications are accepted from all over the world.
• Entries must be original, complete and unpublished, with a minimum of 65 pages. Plays of less than 65 pages will not be considered.
• Translated works, musicals and children's plays will not be accepted.
• The Yale Drama Series aims to support emerging playwrights.
• Playwrights will never win the competition more than once.
• Playwrights may submit only one manuscript per year.
• Professionally produced or published plays will not be accepted.
• The Yale Drama Series reserves the right to reject any manuscript for any reason.
• The Yale Drama Series reserves the right not to select a winner in any year of the competition and reserves the right to determine the ineligibility of a winner, in keeping with the spirit of the competition, and based on the achievement of an author.
