- Demonstrate initiative, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Have strong character and the ability to create a positive impact in their communities.
- Are prepared to combine their academic or professional path with a long-term commitment to community service.
- May be international students, as international first-year applicants are eligible for all merit scholarships offered by Vanderbilt.
