About the organization
Baytouna was founded in 2015 by a group of like-minded choir members who share a passion for music & the arts. This group of musicians decided to take their passion beyond Jordan by participating in the Al-Quafila Exchange programme, performing mainly Arabic music throughout Europe. This exposed them to different cultures and made them recognize the truth of the cliché that music is a universal language that touches people from all walks of life. Upon their return to Jordan they wanted to share their experiences with their community. Therefore, Beytouna was established with the mission of spreading music and arts and promoting Intercultural relations. We also want to establish Jordan’s first non for profit music school and centre for music therapy.
