About the organization
The Queens Collective is a group of artists working together and running a community art space in Marrakech, Morocco. In the space, they offer a platform for multidisciplinary artists, both emerging and established to explore, exchange and create work. They bridge international and local artists by offering a series of different residencies for Moroccans and foreigners. Queens Collective stands for gender equality, female empowerment and the engagement of vulnerable communities locally through cultural activism. Queens Collective is founded and run by artists of different backgrounds, promoting social transformation through artistic, cultural, and educational programs.
