The Research and Innovation Authority is the official entity responsible for supporting the research and innovation ecosystem in the Sultanate of Oman. It works to fund research projects, develop researchers’ capabilities, and enhance collaboration between local and international universities and institutions. The Authority aims to build a knowledge-based economy by supporting scientific initiatives, empowering youth to develop their research skills, and connecting them with global opportunities such as international programs and forums. This contributes to preparing a generation capable of innovation and competing on a global level.
