Musée de Charmey

About the organization

The approach of the Musée de Charmey to the applied arts has constantly evolved since it opened in 1991. Nonetheless, it remains committed to its original vocation as a showcase of regional arts, crafts and traditions. To this end, it regularly organises temporary exhibitions on a range of subjects, including the alpine economy, the Charterhouse of La Valsainte, straw-making as well as artefacts made from wood, soil and paper.
