About the organization

Phodar Foundation is a non-profit based in Sofia, Bulgaria, established in 1999. It promotes visual arts—especially photography—by organizing international photo festivals and competitions such as the Phodar Biennial, attracting photographers from over 70 countries, offering cash prizes, and showcasing selected works in major galleries.
