The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development is a regional development financial institution based in Kuwait. It was established to support economic and social development in Arab countries. The Fund includes all Arab countries as members and works to finance major projects that contribute to improving infrastructure and promoting economic growth, such as projects in education, energy, transportation, and water. It also provides technical assistance and development studies, in addition to limited research fellowship programs aimed at developing Arab expertise in the academic and research fields.
