The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is a Saudi government entity responsible for developing the communications, technology, and digital transformation sector in the Kingdom. The ministry works to build advanced digital infrastructure, empower national talent, and support innovation and tech entrepreneurship in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The ministry also launches digital initiatives and training programs, such as the Smart Summer 2026 initiative, with the aim of enhancing individuals’ skills in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies and preparing them for the digital labor market.
