Opportunity description

The Crown Prince Foundation announces the recruitment for the CNES Internship Program. This training program aims to increase the expertise in space and satellite sciences, through which Jordanian students are given practical experience in the design of satellites and their various applications, such as natural disasters and earthquakes, using the latest technologies. The participants will be selected based on the nominations of the Jordanian universities, in accordance with the conditions already determined by CNES.

Conditions for Applying:

  1. Must be a Master's student and enrolled in a Jordanian university majoring Engineering or Computer Science.
  2. The training field should be selected in accordance with the attached table in this link, provided that the student's experience matches the requirements and skills required for the training program.
  3. The applicant must provide an explanation in English (no more than 150 words) about his project and research, including the objectives of the project or the research they are working on, and answer the following questions:
    • What skills did they gain or develop through working on their project or research?
    • Why should the National Center for Space Studies (CNES) in France choose them for the internship?
  4. Applicants should send two letters of recommendation in English from professors supervising their Master's thesis or from those with whom the student has participated in a scientific research.
  5. Applicants must attach a passport copy valid until January 2019 and two personal photographs.
  6. Applicants must attach a transcript, and a Student Prove Document or an official letter from the university (in both Arabic and English) proving that the student is enrolled in the master's program.
  7. Applicants must sign a commitment to comply with all training conditions and take all legal responsibility if they fail to comply with the training requirements.
