Dell is offering a Job opportunity in as a Field Service Engineer in USA. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing of company and multi-vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. You will serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters. You will also interpret customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps or engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced installation of technical solutions; follows predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities
- Develops technical knowledge in a specific subject matter
- Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement
- Mentors and reviews work of more junior Field Service technicians
- Establishes and builds positive customer relationships
Essential requirements:
- Typically requires 4+ years of related experience
- Highly skilled in hardware, software and/or operating systems environment
- Good knowledge of appropriate networks, products and protocols
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Advanced customer Service skill
Desirable requirements:
Desirable to have ITIL & MCP/ MCSE/other hardware certifications.
