Google offers a job opportunity in the USA as a financial analyst, search & assistant Infrastructure to become one of the financial analysts who ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. Google's work covers everything from analyzing strategies, initiatives, and success of high-profile business areas and early-stage development products, to understanding the financial implications of new product launches. The Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to senior leadership and is integral to operations and strategy. Therefore, you will meld strong business acumen with knowledge of Google’s technical infrastructure to help Google make investment decisions in machines, networking, and human capital resources.

You will responsible for:

• Shape the analytic agenda in support of Search & Assistant Infrastructure business partners.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to develop business models for Google’s Machine Learning investments. Understand the value-driven by investments in Machine Learning and identify metrics and milestones that each business area should be reaching upon receiving investment.
• Partner with Technical Infrastructure Finance and Product Area Resource Managers (PARMs) to develop the annual plan for machines and networking spend within Search, generating insights into drivers of costs and identifying risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations.
• Identify and implement new metrics and reporting tools to measure spend and value-driven by Search & Assistant Infrastructure.
• Navigate large complex datasets and join information from multiple systems (e.g, SAP, internal financial, and engineering databases).
• Leverage your technical expertise to generate timely, accurate insights.

You are qualified for this job if you have:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
2. Four years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 1 year with a relevant advanced degree.
3. Experience in financial modeling and financial analysis.
4. Organized, strategically focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in change and ambiguity.
5. Strong facility with Structured Query Language (SQL), joining multiple data sources, and data mining in large datasets; experience with navigating and solutions around data gaps.
6. Extremely proficient with Google Workspace products.
7. Strong conviction to have an opinion and advocate for the right thing to do for the business.
8. Ability to be a trusted translator between product and finance leadership.
9. Outstanding business partnering skills with the ability to build senior-level relationships, trust and get things done across functional boundaries.
