Culture Trip is looking for experienced freelance writers to create travel and culture stories in a variety of formats, including features, lists and interviews, with a focus on Riyadh.
Eligibility criteria:
- Strong writing skills, from in-depth features to listicles
- Bylines in nationally and/or internationally renowned English-language publications
- Creative and full of great ideas for distinctive and engaging stories
- Strong research and communication skills with an interest in, and sensitivity to, cultural nuances
- In-depth knowledge of Kuwait City, from local cultures to customs and the latest trends
- A degree in journalism or equivalent experience is highly desirable
What is offered?
- They will offer varied commissions based on your experience and expertise, and your pitches are welcomed too. As part of your assignments, you’ll sometimes be asked to source images from featured organisations to accompany and illustrate your copy.
