Opportunity description

Allianz is offering a job opportunity in Germany as a full-time IT Process Manager, with focus on aligning IT processes globally in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in IT. Special attention will be required to adjust our processes to new internal and external requirements. In this role, you will report to the Chief IT Architect and will be based in our office in Frankfurt.

Required qualifications:

  1. Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or equivalent subject
  2. Deep knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements in the financial services industry, audit background is helpful
  3. Outstanding analytical skills and problem solving ability
  4. A proactive and client-centric approach, combining diplomacy and assertiveness
  5. Ability to promote ideas and concepts with various stakeholders, from business departments to IT management
  6. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with various teams
  7. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, proficient in English

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Significant understanding of how to efficiently support and manage audits
  2. Proficient with the investment management business and value chain of front, middle and back office functions

Key responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate compliance to (inter-) national regulations and corporate rules by closely collaborating with IT Process Owners to identify, assess and remediate process gaps
  2. Design and implement a standard roadmap to regulatory compliance
  3. Help external auditors navigating the interpersonal structure of AllianzGI by utilising your personal network in the firm
  4. Identify, resolve and introduce measures to prevent IT process inefficiencies
  5. Build transparency over end-to-end processes, even beyond the boundaries of IT
  6. Implement, maintain and support the required toolset for IT Process Management
  7. Regularly align with process partners to facilitate knowledge transfer and to ensure that major process dependencies are well managed
