Information Services Paid Internship Opportunity at RB in USA

Reckitt Benckiser Group (RB) offers an internship opportunity in NJ, USA. As it is looking for current juniors & sophomores to join RB as an Information Services Intern for summer 2020.  

Duration:

10-12 Weeks.

Required Qualifications: 

1. Must be graduating in May/June 2021 or 2022 with a BS degree in business administration or an IS-related discipline (Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.). 
2. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. 
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially high-pressure environment. 
4. Ability to interact clearly with business users to ensure that software solutions fill strategic business needs. 
5. Willingness and ability to work with multifunctional teams both in-country and across the world. 
6. Internationally mobile for future career opportunities within RB. 
7.  Entrepreneurial spirit. 
8. Ambitious and motivated.
9. Hungry to take on responsibility in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
10. Action-oriented, a pragmatic problem solver and share its drive to succeed. Even when faced with obstacles. 

Internship Responsibilities: 

1. Perform system analysis, design, programming, testing, and documentation.  
2. Monitor and analyze existing application systems.  
3. Recommend enhancements in technical function and business utility. 
4. Assist business analysts and end-users across all functional areas in identifying strategic long-term needs for the enterprise, defining how the data is related to the business processes, and developing a conceptual and functional model of the data. 
5. Provide support to troubleshoot any issues on existing application systems.  
6. Ensure that all system security and control procedures are implemented and followed. 
7. Constantly improve IS systems through current/best in class IS practices. 
8. As IS projects are scoped, participate in the effort to identify potential solutions, including hardware considerations, purchased software options, internal software and development options, and corporate hardware/software policy and direction. 
9. Support efforts to program, test, and implement projects and enhancements.
