Internship Followed by a job opportunity: Sourcing Assistant at Souq Fann in Amman

Souq Fann is offering an internship opportunity as a creative Sourcing Assistant to work full time within their headquarters in Amman, Jordan. A successful Sourcing Assistant supports the team in the sourcing and production processes by being flexible and eager to make Souq Fann a great success.

Responsibilities

The sourcing assistant might contribute to the following tasks:

• Entering and verifying sourcing and production data.
• Ensuring agreements are signed with selected vendors and partners to promote their products on the platform.
• Organizing and controlling information provided by vendors such as payment data, agreement, ID’s copy.
• Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and providing them with technical and logistical support.
• Conducting quality assurance on products themselves to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Contributing to the overall sales and marketing strategy of the platform.
• Representing Souq Fann to vendors and other stakeholders when appropriate.
• Any additional support that can contribute to Souq Fann growth such as writing content for the platform, taking pictures of the products, etc.

• Ability to manage vendor relationships with a diverse vendor community from throughout Jordan.

• An appreciation of Jordan’s artistic and handicraft sector, and an understanding of relevant cultural and economic factors. 
• Unwavering attention to detail and drive to succeed.
• Ability and willingness to work outside of normal working hours.
• Ability to learn and analyze new and conflicting information quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in good standing from an accredited university. 
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Experience with website management is preferred.
• Eligible to work in Jordan.
• Committed to Souq Fann’s mission and vision.

Final salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and skills of the candidate.
