Internship for Computer Science Students at FactSet Company in New York City

FactSet invites talented and hardworking engineers to bring new perspective and fresh ideas to the team by joining it as an intern in New York City. Engineering interns are aligned with specific teams where they’ll work alongside full-time engineers to develop new technologies, brainstorm solutions, and contribute to a project. During the 12-week internship, you’ll have ownership over a project that personally interests you, while building your coding and collaboration skills.

Minimum qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
2. Experience in programming with C++, C# or another OOP language
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work both independently and in groups
6. Ability to prioritize and set goals on shifting priorities

Preferred qualifications:

1. Current Junior enrolled in an undergraduate CS program
2. Experience in Unix, Perl, .NET, GUI environments, and database technologies

Benefits:

Salary will be determined with the intern. Like full-time engineers, interns attend social events such as casino nights, lunch parties, and summer picnics.
