Opportunity description

Al Araby Al Jadeed is looking to hire a high-performing Sales and Marketing Manager at the company's headquarters in Doha, Qatar. The candidate will help the company meet its customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping it competitive and innovative. The employee will be responsible for maximizing the sales team potential, formulating sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing the sales strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
  • Set marketing plans to innovatively reach more potential customers.
  • Overseeing the sales budget; ensuring that spending is accounted for and in line with company procedures.
  • Formulate a sales strategy with clearly defined goals looking at how best advertising and sponsorship income can be maximized, both in print and digital forms.
  • Effectively manage the team to carry out the department’s strategy.
  • Preparing and presenting quarterly reports on the sales department’s activities and results to senior management. This includes reporting on the results/effectiveness of activities.
  • Building relationships with relevant agencies and bodies to insure maximum impact in local and regional media.
  • Identifying key events where there should be a company presence.
  • Set sales targets to be achieved monthly according to the marketing statistics and expectations.
  • Manage aftersales survey to distribution channels to determine the right target market and increase/decrease quota accordingly.
  • Will be working with finance to ensure that correct income projections are factored into budgeting process.
  • Will be working closely with finance to ensure that all internal financial policies and procedures are adhered.
  • Will be working closely with head of marketing to ensure that marketing department is aware of sales targets, contacts and strategy and able to provide support where possible.

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor degree in Business administration/Marketing or similar.
  2. Certificates in Sales/Marketing Management is preferable
  3. Tree to five years of experience in the local market or similar markets.
