Airbus a global leader and a pioneer in aeronautics is offering a job opportunity in UK as a Future Programs and Proposals System Engineer. Candidates will be provided with support, guidance and training so that they can contribute to proposals and study activities for the European and UK Space Agencies. They will support the production of proposals, mission feasibility studies and technology development activities. As a systems engineer they will be working on a variety of projects with values up to several million £. This role offers the opportunity to enhance the successful applicant's system engineering experience.
Note: This role will require occasional travel to Europe.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals/study data packs within customer defined timeframes, focusing on trial deliveries for the customer.
- Delivery of proposal/study contributions within agreed budgets.
- Interface with a variety of stakeholders, including ENS management, sales and marketing, engineering teams, cost engineering, finance, and commercial.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Required skills
- Engineering experience within the Space industry.
- Ability to communicate with different audiences, technical and non-technical alike.
- Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
- Strong written English language skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
