The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) is looking for an outstanding talent to join their team in Washington D.C. as a Director of Grants Strategy in building a more peaceful world. USIP is the independent, nonpartisan conflict management center created by Congress to prevent and mitigate international conflict without resorting to violence. USIP works to save lives, increase the government's ability to deal with conflicts before they escalate, reduce government costs, and enhance our national security.
The Director of Grants Strategy designs, manages and implements ACT grant-making, and coordinates, guides and facilitates the institute’s other departmental grant-making programs. Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the position:
[1] Master’s Degree in Behavioral or Social Sciences
[2] A minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, managing, and implementing grant-making programs
[3] Expertise in International Affairs and/or disciplines of conflict management
[4] Strong project management skills
[5] Excellent oral and written communication skills
