Souq Fann is looking to hire a creative English Content Writer to work part-time within their headquarters in Amman, Jordan. Souq Fann is an easy-to-use online platform where people can find Jordan’s best handmade and locally-produced goods, gifts, and treasures. Souq Fann provides a platform for small-scale artists and artisans to share and sell their work online.

Responsibilities:

A successful English Content Writer Intern is able to contribute to Souq Fann growth by providing the team with creative and well-written content about Souq Fann products and vendors’ stories. This includes:

1. Write titles and descriptions for Souq Fann products. Each week at least 20 new products are added on Souq Fann.
2. Write stories of Souq Fann vendors. Each week Souq Fann welcomes at least 1 new vendor with his/her story.
3. Review and improve the English content: on the website and social media.
4. Compose any additional documents needed for Souq Fann website/promotion.

Characteristics and Qualifications:

1. Excellent English writing skills.
2. Excellent understanding of Souq Fann market with its targeted customer segmentation.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with many different types of people.
4. Strong sense of creativity.
5. An appreciation of Jordan’s artistic and handicraft sector, and an understanding of relevant cultural and economic factors.
6. Unwavering attention to detail and drive to succeed.
A successful candidate will also have the following qualifications:
7. Bachelor’s degree in good standing from an accredited university.
8. Native English Speaker.
9. Experience with website management is preferred.

Note: this position is available immediately. The successful candidate will sign a three-month internship contract as a part-time intern.
