Job Opportunity: External Consultant in Context Analysis in the Swedish Development Organization in Jordan

IM Swedish Development Partner, a Swedish development organization fighting and exposing poverty and exclusion operating in five regions worldwide, is looking for an external Consultant in Context Analysis to do the required context analysis, In total there will be 3 context analyses: one for Jordan, one for Palestine and one for Lebanon/regional. IM has three mainstreaming areas: Gender, Conflict Sensitivity and Climate/Environment in addition to the focus area of disability rights.

Applicants must have:

- Previously conducted desk reviews for context analysis (mainly based secondary data) in a development context in the Middle East.

- Proven capacity to work in multi country settings with a broad range of stakeholders

- Previous experience of writing strategies for INGOs or equivalent   

- Fluent Arabic and English and in-depth.

- knowledge of the Middle East/MENA region is a requirement.
