Job Opportunity: Senior DevOps Engineer at Peak Company in Turkey

Peak offers a job opportunity as a senior DevOps engineer, a member of the cloud platform team who is the spine of the company's growth. You will share the responsibility of architecting, building, maintaining, and monitoring the entire infrastructure to able to provide a scalable and robust cloud delivery infrastructure.

Eligibility:

You must hold:

1. BA/BS in computer engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
2. Hands 2-3 years of experience on highly-scalable, distributed systems in a Linux-based environment.
3. Experience with amazon web services (AWS) and/or other public cloud computing platforms.
4. Experience in open-source software development and IT operations (DevOps) technologies, such as Kubernetes, Saltstack, Consul, Terraform, Prometheus, Docker, Ansible.
5. Solid understanding of application data flow and how it meets system infrastructure.
6. Able to continuously improve the production environment.
7. Experience in Linux system-level analysis to identify and mitigate risks in the infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

You will responsible for:

• Work closely with the engineering teams to design, deliver and manage the services with high uptime.
• Develop effective tools, alerts, and responses to identify and address reliability risks.
• Master the Peak platform, to help determine the root cause of internal problems and service issues.
• Automate, implement, administer and maintain the databases, cloud-based servers including backups and restores, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Together with your teammates, you’ll be participating in on-call rotation. You may find yourself dealing with an arising issue at any given time.
• As a member of this team, you will responsible for:
  •  The building, orchestrating, scaling, and maintaining highly available systems.
  • Architecting, building, maintaining, and monitoring the entire infrastructure.
