Job Opportunity: Sr. Associate, Data Center at Bank al Etihad in Jordan

Bank al Etihad is looking for a Sr. Associate, Data Center to join its team in Jordan. This role is primarily responsible for smooth and efficient functioning of production banking systems and is responsible for following procedures for product applications/systems and backups of assigned Bank databases: monitor systems, troubleshoots, and provides support to minimize system downtime.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor ATM and network
2. Escalate problems that happened on the systems/applications
3. Follow up DC operators work
4. Ensure backup systems and disaster recovery systems are in order to support business in case of exigency
5. Ensure timely preparation of daily, monthly, and yearly backups/archive and appropriate storage of the same
6. Monitor free spaces on servers and check log files for any errors
7. In charge of daily various postings to main DB from subsystems
8. Responsible for reports generation and print out for Core and Sub systems
9. Replacement of DC manager when he is absent
10. In charge of daily, monthly, yearly tasks schedules Run and Q/A
11. Part of all test scenario team for any new projects
12. Responsible for following procedures for product applications/systems, backups of assigned Bank databases and execute EOD, EOM, EOY for all applications and systems
13. Manage and transfer systems backup to DRC site and DRC backup vault
14. Generate and upload gateways to the flex cube system
15. Ensure on a daily basis the healthiness of the bank core applications
