Majid Al Futtaim group is looking for a Stocker to join its team in Saudi Arabia. Retail stockers are responsible for receiving inventory for retail stores in stockrooms, warehouses and other storage facilities. They also place merchandise on the selling area for customers to Purchase.
Responsibilities:
- Mark items with identifying codes, such as price, stock, or inventory control codes.
- Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
- Stock shelves with unpacked items.
- Ensure label is clear and visible.
- Help customers fill orders.
- Replace damaged or missing products.
- Operate forklift to lift or place merchandise.
- Work with salespeople on inventory and orders.
- Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise.
- Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
- Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
- Stamp, attach, or change price tags on merchandise, referring to price list.
Qualifications:
- Higher secondary combined with minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience as a Stocker in a large retail Store.
- Knowledge in Stock taking.
- Must be helpful and polite.
- Knowledge in inventory techniques.
- Good persuasive skills, excellent communication and a pleasing personality.
- Be fluent in English and knowledge in spoken Arabic would be an advantage.
- Should be customer service oriented.
- Should be smart appearance and articulate.
- Should have a comprehensive understanding of the area where he/she assigned (textile, market, FMCG, HHH, LHH).
