7iber is hiring a program coordinator to help administer and support a growing number of exciting and engaging projects. The successful individual will possess the ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively and work in a dynamic environment.
This position is based in 7iber’s office in Jabal Al-Luweibdeh in Amman, Jordan. The relocation expenses from outside Jordan are not covered.
Responsibilities:
[1] Project Management, which includes:
- Build out project management systems in Excel and Asana to ensure that work is coordinated with team members across departments.
- Monitor the implementation of projects.
- Meet consistently with the editorial team to ensure content targets are being met.
- Assist with planning for events and special initiatives
[2] Grants Management which includes:
- Write interim and final reports for currently-funded projects.
- Work closely with project managers and with the accountant to track and document project expenses.
- Seek and keep track of new funding opportunities.
- Write new grant proposals and assist with their budget development.
[3] Relationships Management which includes:
- Represent 7iber at public events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
- Respond to requests for information on 7iber email and by phone.
Applicants must:
[1] Be fluent Arabic and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
[2] Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
[3] Be experience managing donor-funded projects.
[4] Be skilled in report and proposal writing
[5] Have an understanding of media and journalism (media-related experience is a plus).
[6] Have 2 to 5 years of experience, especially in project management in non-profit organisations.
Note: This position has the potential to grow, and 7iber is looking for a program coordinator who can show initiative and contribute creatively to all operations and projects.
