Job Opportunity as a Cashier at Azadea Foundation in Algeria 2018

Azadea Foundation is looking for a Cashier to join its team in Algeria.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of cash drawer (and invoice folder when applicable) throughout the day.
2. Keep inventory of sold items and provide sales reports to Shop Manager.
3. Specific for Furnishing/Retail: Greet customers and compute sales price of purchases by scanning sales tags or typing amounts into the system.
4. Specific for Multimedia: Up-sell and cross-sell products and services in order to reach hourly and daily sales targets, also handle the sale of events tickets.
5. Specific for F&B: Coordinate daily currency exchange and make sure to deposit any excess amount in the bank.
6. Manage and control the cash register by handling its opening and closure, performing accurate handover, investigating/reporting any discrepancy, and processing payment transactions as per standard procedures.

Qualifications:

1. High School Degree.
2. Previous experience in a similar field is a major plus.
3. Strong knowledge of outlet’s operating procedures.
4. Proficiency in MS Office.
5. Fluency in English.
