Dell is looking for a Cybersecurity senior Advisor to join its Cybersecurity team in Ireland. Cybersecurity team members have the responsibility for providing thought leadership across security technology areas and aligning with both the business and cybersecurity objectives. In this role, you will be expected to contribute to initiatives across Cybersecurity and work as a member of a larger team that focuses on priority-driven items which change based on need.
Duties & responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Deploy and manage technologies for enforcement of security controls across multiple cloud platforms.
- Leverage scripting, automation, and configuration management tools to accelerate the secure adoption of the public cloud within Dell Technologies.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain large-scale systems, across multiple on-premises and cloud environments.
- Work across global teams and business units to understand application and network architecture and behavior and design and deploy adequate controls.
- Provide consulting services to application owners, IT, and business teams to enhance security and protection controls for public cloud-based workloads.
- Work in a collaborative team environment utilizing Agile development methodologies and principles, mentoring teammates, and learning cross-functional skills to support a range of technologies as a product offering.
- Provide dedicated support to Special Events (Sales, webcasts, etc.)
- Monitor for incidents and alerts and provide response and support to address active events.
Eligibility criteria
- 5+ years of professional experience securing or administering multi-account/subscription public cloud environments(AWS, Azure, GCP)
- In-depth knowledge, experience, and deep understanding of public cloud environmental configuration.
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) knowledge as well as other cloud-native data logging and collection platforms(CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, etc.)
- Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP) or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex problems to non-technical teams.
- Ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels, customer-oriented with a strong interest in customer satisfaction.
