Job Opportunity as a Digital UX Designer at TRT Arabic in Turkey

TRT Arabic - is an Arabic language channel of TRT, broadcasting to Arabic-speaking audiences in Turkey and the Middle East, 24 hours a day, on subjects, events, and news - is looking for a UX Designer to be responsible for creating and implementing user-centered designs for the channel’s portfolio of digital products in Turkey. This role works closely with product managers and business owners to translate end-user and business needs into intuitive web and mobile experiences. Leveraging tacit knowledge, user research, and best practices, the designer will drive TRT Arabic branded experiences across web and mobile to deliver native and highly engaging digital products and services to the global audience. The role requires a person who is a creative problem solver and leverages data and insights to deliver visually stunning designs that satisfy both business and user needs.

Responsibilities:

[1] Represent TRT Arabic Digital Strategy team as a UX thought leader

[2] Provide regular communication to stakeholders on UX findings and recommendations

[3] Champion user research findings and insights through written reports and oral presentations

[4] Leverage Lean UX methods to deliver customer validated designs in quick iteration

[5] Manage and prioritize UX research needs, and lead UX research to validate or capture user needs

[6] Create prototypes, wireframes, flows, UI specs

[7] Challenge assumptions and engage others as an advocate for user needs

[8] Multi-tasking between multiple concurrent UX projects at once

[9] Lead the creation and maintenance of an reusable design assets

[10] Provide UX oversight and direction to external agencies as needed

[11] Collaborate with Product Managers in the evaluation and prioritization new product features and enhancements

[12] Translate complex technical and business requirements into UX research test plans (hypothesis, scenarios, tasks, etc)

Skills and experiences required:

[1] Excellent visual design skills including expert knowledge of Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Axure and design prototyping tools

[2] Strong UX strategy and design portfolio

[3] Deep understanding HCI of the latest trends in user-centered design

[4] Ability to balance competing priorities and work with cross-functional stakeholders

[5] Strong listening and negotiating skills

[6] Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design or related discipline

[7] 3+ years of visual design and UX user interface experience

[8] Must be an advanced/native Arabic speaker

[9] Must have good knowledge of English

[10] Knowledge of Turkish is a plus
